What is Anthracite interior?

So my cooper S comes in like 2-3 days

it has the Anthracite interior option but i have never seen this option in person. i have seen the base cooper's light plastic dash, and the cooper S dash that looks like brushed metal(is it ? or is it just plastic that looks like that?)

anywho my question is. is the Anthracite interior just a dark plastic, or is it a metal? does it have the same brushed look as the alloy one, or is it just smooth dark plastic?

thanks for your help guys, i cant wait 2 days to find this out first hand

You will LOVE it! It glistens like metallic paint in the sun and looks really good on my dark silver S!
What paint colour are you getting?

My advice is to search the forums and personal galleries, there are many photo's on here of that interior trim.

I have BRG/W with the Anthracite interior. I absolutely love it. Having this option was just the icing on the cake for me.

Tony: im getten jet black/black roof and the dark interior with this trim.

Paul: thanks, thats actually where i was first looking when i noticed this trim was not what i thought.

im pretty excited today, could be in or any day this week!!!!
