Buying Mini Roadster spare-parts for the future.

Hi guys, I own a Mini Roadster, it's collector car for me and I want to keep it forever. I know that Mini stopped the production of this vehicle, so I wonder if I need to buy some spare-parts for it and keep it with me so when the part fails in the future I would have the spare-part ready to replace. Example which I think I might need in 10 years or so (since I do not drive my Roadster that much) is the following:
  • Replacement Convertible Soft Top with its engine.
  • N18 Engine Timing Chain Kit.

When you think I should buy those? Anytime? In 2 years? In 5 years? Which year you think I would start having hard-time finding those spare-parts? Also what else you think I should buy?
Thanks in advance. :)

I've seen an increasing number of posts about motor failures on the spoilers as well as the soft tops. I'd have a plan for either. Some of the early Roadsters had a manual soft top (one of our company directors had one of those imported) but I have no idea if it's possible to switch.

Basically, anything on the car that isn't a standard component across R55, R56, R57 etc is something to be aware of, because compared to those the production runs of the R58 & R59 were tiny and spares might be harder to come by.
