Hello Everyone!

So i am in the middle of replacing me crank sensor on my 2012 Countryman S All4
Being an all wheel drive, the crank sensor is blocked by the transfer case there fore it needs to be removed.
I managed to remove everything but the the shaft inside the transfer case which i was told need to come out.
I was wondering what is the best way to do it as the shaft has no significant grip for me to hammer or pull on?
Car is currently on a lift and ive been trying to figure it out for the last 4 hours haha.

Are there anyone with experience taking one of these out?

Thank You!

the shaft drifts out using a special tool that looks like a large washer which is tapered toward the centre enough for it to sit in the shaft circlip groove, slotted so it drops on, take out the large circlip from the case, and carefully withdraw the shaft, you'll see from this pic it can be rusty in there, same for the box side, where there is also an o ring or two to look after or change

C clip off the end of the drive shaft's stub shaft, tool uses that groove
