My new (to me) Min Clubman (2020) has an electronic parking brake - my first!
The manual says that the brake will be released when the clutch is raised during a hill-start, say.
What it doesn't say is whether this is the proper thing to do or is it just a "failsafe" feature.
Should I do this every time or will this damage the brake?
