Losing Money on Finance

Hi All,

Firstly, I hope everyone had a great Christmas and are having a good New Year.

I've posted a long message on the finance forums about my personal current experience at loosing a fair bit of money thanks to a MINI Select deal, but wondered more generally if anyone had also lost out on money due to a finance agreement and the "current economic climate"?

Will dig out your finance forum thread. My car was valued at £4-5k less than I owed so I chose voluntary termination for my car. You can choose this route once you have paid 50% of the total to be paid including interest. You hand the car back with nothing left to pay. MINI are going to love me

I think I have the same problem.

I just bought my '02 Mini Cooper S in June/08 for U$ 16.000,00, I put 5 thousand for down.

Now I own 10 thousand to my finance company, and I'm thinking to change my car and the dealers don't offer more than 10.000 to my Mini. How can loose so much price in Months?
