Yes, the Cooper S is a 2 litre turbocharged engine. You probably have a 1.5 litre turbocharged engine (like me) which is just known as a Cooper. The Sport in the log book is the trim designation. It can be a classic, sport or exclusive. The S of Cooper S has never stood for sport by the way, Mini have always left it undefined.
