Hi the position lamp is the same as a side light just a different wording .the bulb you require is called a 501 bulb and is available as a conventional bulb or alternatively a LED .the bulb can be changed on it's own . Know need to change the whole assembly. Why they recommended that I do not know ,there nay be issues with the complete lamp itself .

Should be good with neobrothers just for reference the genuine ones are made by magnet marelli, I foundcthisckut whilst searching for replacements for mine as tge reflectors had deteriorated.
