I have an issue that seems is fairly common relating to the electronic door lock actuator.
It started with an intermittent door lock failure (sticking), on the drivers side door, and ended with the door being unable to to be opened using conventional means. Following online tutorials I was able to force the door card off the door whilst the door was stuck shut and was able to very crudely remove the existing door lock actuator and replace with a second hand unit. Frustratingly following fitment of the replacement actuator I foolishly put the door back together and closed the door to find that the door was again stuck shut. I now face the prospect of having to force the door card off the door again to gain access to the actuator. Does anyone have any thoughts or guidance that might assist with trying to rectify this issue? I have checked fuses and all seem to be fine.
