Hi all, I have an issue with my GF's 2008 Mini Cooper hatch. We got a warning light on the dash suggesting a bulb was out, so checked around the car and noticed at the rear the 'top half' of the drivers side rear cluster is not working.
The top bulb (side/tail light) is stuck solid. It won't twist out of the bulb carrier, so I removed the whole cluster and replaced the bulb with a brand new one but it's still not working. One of the four bulbs was dim and the other didn't work at all. I think they're both side/tail lights (top and bottom?) Could the bulb carrier or wiring be damaged?
Can I replace just the bulb carrier or is my only option to replace the whole unit?
Thanks.
