Hi Members, I have a 2018 JCW F56 and this has appeared on my dash "Auto PDC failure".
Check Control also reads "Auto PDC failure".
Details "Activate PDC manually. Have the problem checked by your Service Partner"
Rear camera is active however there is an image shown next to it as a car with a warning triangle front and aft.

Sensors are all clean, but nothing is showing in either forward or reverse with regard to colour bands or beeping.
Fuses checked and appear normal and somewhere I've read about a power steering fan that uses the same electrical supply causing overload of power due to salt dirt ingress as it is located beneath the engine where all the rubbish causes it to seize blowing the fuse. I've yet to check this but wondered if anyone can offer any assistance ? TIA Kev

Maybe this will be of some help?

"the easy way to find out which bumper sensor or sensors that are not working correctly is very simple no diagnostics needed but better if have them,, anyway turn on ignition put car in reverse engine not running or course, then go to rear of car put your ear to each sensor if clicks then its work perfectly if dont click then thats the faulty one, then its either the wiring plug in behind in the bumper or normally the sensor, also they all must click at same sound level loudness one that clicks less than others also faulty,, pdc works a bit like a seal clicks and listens to the echo back clicks,, 9 times from 10 this is always why the fail bmw should be shot for using such rubbish in by view,,
to check front ones ignition on do same
one other point if ne sensor goes down they all fail looks like its a ecu issue when its not
