Don,t trade it in sell it privately on Pistonheads or Autotrader. You will get a better price and a better deal on your new car with no trade in. A MINI dealer doesn't want a X plate SEAT no matter how good condition especially when a new registration is out flooding the market with many similar used cars, he will just send it to auction.

 

They send it to a trader, not an auction.

Selling privately is great, but no space to park an extra car for the duration.
Or, with no car, nightmare commuting problems.

 

Makes me wonder then, what's the best age to sell a car?

3 Years?

5 Years?

7 Years?

Personally I would never trust a child to sell a car again, no matter how old they are, as they almost invariably get sidetracked on the way home and spend all the money on toys and sweeties

You'd be better off getting an adult to do it!
