Brake light failure

Hello,

I'm having a few issues with my brake lights. Firstly I started receiving a warning message saying Left brake light failure, even though the light was working perfectly.

I replaced both left and right bulbs and I'm now getting the error message Left and Right brake light failure even though both lights are working fine...

Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions to help fix this issue?

I don't think it's the bulbs because the warning has now disappeared for the right brake light.

The warning is still showing for the left brake light.

Could there be a problem with the sensor or something? The bulbs are brand new.
