Hello all,
Cruising at around 70mph the car lost all power and would not accelerate. Random cylinder misfire codes starting going off and car came to a stop and didnt want to start. Low fuel misfire was a new code that i had not seen before also. The Mini had 1/4 tank still in it. Decided to change fuel filter and fuel pump due to that fault code and needed to do it anyway. Car will start but still having misfire on 3 and 4. At idle i can pull spark plug wires on 3 and 4 and car will still run but rough. Swapped plugs from 1 and 2 over to 3 and 4 to test plugs and no change so i know plugs are good. Can visible see spark from spark plug cable on 3 and 4 so cables and power pack is good. placed hands over 3 and 4 spark plug tubes and compression is present when trying to turn over ignition. I am not losing oil, and no smoke present out of tail pipe.
Question: Could i be dealing with clogged injectors on 3 and 4? How can i test that without removing all the injectors from the rail? Or is there an easy way to remove the injectors from the rail?

I have been trying to find some information about the injectors on this model and it is difficult. Any help on this would be appreciated

Doesn’t have to over heat. If you have a misfire on certain cylinders and swapping leads and plugs around does not move its location a compression test should be done to rule out cylinder, piston or other issues that can cause it.

Never assume something is ok because it’s been replaced recently, at least know it’s ok.
