hi hi

What's the difference between the Chilli, Camden and Mayfair within the Mini Cooper line?

I can't for the life of me find an explanation for this, short of me having to go ask a dealer.

EDIT::

Just to reiterate how little info I have found, googling any variant of my question brings this thread up in the top 10 results, if not the first result!!!

Right, the Camden and the Mayfair are special editions. they come in one colour only. The mayfair comes in hot chocolate and the camden comes in white silver.

'Chilli' simply relates to 'chilli pack' which is an optional extra for the ONE/Cooper/D/S and depending on where in the world you live, it comes with different things. You can also get a 'Salt' pack for the MINI ONE and also a 'Pepper pack'.

The Mayfair came in Hot Chocolate Brown. However you could also spec one in white or black (with either a white or brown roof). It came with special brown stripes, spot lights on the front and a special "chocolate brown" interior leather trim which was very nice and special alloy wheels.

The Camden came in white, hoirzon blue and Silver. It had a special white interior which I personally wasn't so hot on and it also had special alloy wheels.

The mayfair and Camden are special editions of the mini. They are exclusives to celebrate mini's 50th. The side scuttles are 50th anniversary, the mayfair also has a special 50th anniversary grill badge. Depending on the territory they come with varying options. Such as exclusive availability of hot chocolate paint on the mayfair (upto this point it was only available on the clubman), exclusive exclusive rims, leathers colours, exclusive mirror caps (tha mayfair is dark brown and light brown stripped), etc.

The chili pack is an add on to most mini's and is a collection of various options.
