Driver window not making a seal

My driver side window is not making a seal with the weather strip. There's a quarter inch gap which is letting cold air in and making some noise on the highway. In all of my research, I have seen only of similar issues. The best "fix" was to use the adjusting bolts at the bottom of the door. Now, this helped the issue, but didn't solve it. If I bring them all the way in, there is remaining, just a small gap which isn't very noticeable. However, when the door is closed, it makes a bad sound which makes me feel like the side closest to the steering wheel is to close. After bringing that bolt back to the center, the sound isn't gone, but better. Yet, the gap is bigger even though the bolt to adjust the side closest to the wheel is al the way inward. It appears that there is a larger issue. The window itself seems to be a little weak while being rolled down and up.

Here is the backdrop of the story:

Before this, i was having no issues. I live in Michigan, and a few weeks ago we had some bad sleet. After a not so smart tug on the door, the left side of the handle popped out. The bolt was just stripped, and replacing it solved the issue. The initial incident caused the door to be unable to open from the inside and the outside. I didn't notice the issue with the door until receiving it back from the mechanic. After seeing the problem, I remembered catching some wind from the door before taking it to the mechanic, but I can't recall if it was from the door not shutting all the way or from the window itself.

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks.

I took a look at these diagrams and couldn't find any abnormalities. However, I did finally find the problem! I noticed that the door seemed to sit higher than the passenger door. I loosened the door bolts and adjusted the height and that did it. I can't believe that it was something as simple as that....
