Does anyone have experience or knowledge of Nology Hotwires?

They are claimed to have a spark of approximately 300 times greater than the standard spark plugs and also are claimed to increase horse power.

The web site dosen't have any performace figures.

Is the increase, if any , worth the price tag?

Cheers.

I'd say dont bother. Mini has 2 coils and possibly the shortest wires I've ever seen. Better investment would be a good set of performance spark plugs (and maybe indexing washers?). I'd recommend Autolite Copper. If you're serious about performance (read: lots of mods), try one heat range colder than stock.

I personally had NOLOGY wires and also had the BERU Silver Tips (I sold the car), there was a differance in performance from the get go:D on my HONDA civic DX, yes DX. They now market them for lifetime warranty. I didnot have that luxury then but, the folks at NOLOGY were so cool that they fixed one of my wires for free!!!;) YES:p I DO plan to purchase them again:cool: for my mini "S" , granted they are expensive but with the lifetime warranty its worth it:).

P.S. I forgot to tell you something, before they were warranted for 30 days my wire broke because of leaky gasket in the engine and had lasted me over 90,000 miles:eek: And the guy who ownes the car now loves them ;)

I have a few questions.
1. Did you notice the increase after replacing your worn wires with the NOLOGY units or was it after an upgrade from a different performance product?
2. How was the life of the plugs?
3. Can you explain to me a little more how a leaky gasket ruined a plug wire?

Thanks!

Nology Hotwires + M7 Plasma Booster

Just installed the Nology Hotwires and the M7 Plasms Booster, man what a difference. I had not anticipated the improvement would be as dramatic, especially at WOT. Above 3200 rpm's they just roar! I wonder if my Mercedes ML55 and Porsche 911 would enjoy the same improvement?
