I have a 2006 R53 and recently changed my tires to a size 17 and is wider than the stock tires.
Just this morning, I have lost my right rear wheel arch trim while on the freeway. It must be due to the tires that comes in contact with the wheel arch when running into uneven surfaces on the streets.
I would like your opinion as to which route to take: 1. change the rear arches to flared ones?; or 2. order the stock wheel arch and have the rear fender rolled?
If this was your car, what would you do?
