Front fog light bulb out (I think)

Is it an aftermarket headlight unit?

 

Owners manual. Rear fog lamp problem:

Car senses resistance to determine bulb faults IIRC, so the bulb may just be burnt out or otherwise broken continuity.

European thing I guess. We don’t have rear fog lamps here. I suppose it could just be a difference in terms for what we call reversing lights….

 

@flightops, for info, our reversing lights engage only in reverse gear and are a white (clear) light - separate to fog lights

 

So whats their purpose? To make it easier for cars behind to see you?

That would get you a ticket over here….only rear facing lights allowed are red tails and amber turns. The white back up light is only legal to be on when reversing. Any other rear facing light can’t be on when traveling forward.
