R56 Brake CalipersTeves or Lucas (TRW)?

Two types of brake pads are listed for the 2006-2010 R56 in the PAGID catalogue. One for Teves Calipers and one for Lucas (TRW)

Anyone know if there is an easy way of identifying the caliper manufacturer without taking the wheel off?

Eventually answering my own post.

Took wheels off, swung caliper out removed pad and measured confirming that pads measuring around 130mm long are Lucas TRW

Pads around 140mm long are for the Teves calipers, not for the R56 but for the earlier R50 and the R52 (convertible) that was still current 2006-2008.

Moral of the story?

A 'Cooper' 2006 - 2008 is often an R56, but can be a R52 (convertible) or a R55 (clubman)

Using model names like 'Cooper' in isolation rather than model numbers for parts catalogues makes little sense when there is no split by VIN number.

Cross referencing back by the Mini part number at realoem.com to the Pagid catalogue also confirmed they are Lucas TRW calipers.
