Typically, it's in the engine bay closest to the steering wheel (back of engine bay).

 

If its like the Clubman/Hatch theres a removeable hatch under the bonnet on the drivers side of the black plastic scuttle panel just below the windscreen.
Not up on the Countryman myself but would expect something similar.?
